All pupils really enjoyed participating in the BIG Spring Clean on Tuesday 7th May 2019 as part of our on-going Eco-work and in preparation for our Green Flag Award 2019.
A variety of plants and flowers were planted in our new Eco-Club outdoor plant boxes, pupils also planted a selection of fruit and vegetables which we look forward to tasting very soon!!! We would like to thank Mr Michael Mc Elroy who facilitated this activity.
Many pupils took part in Litter-Picking exercises, they gathered and later observed the litter they had found. The Eco-Committee then discussed how the litter could damage the local environment and how this litter could be reused and recycled.
In the coming weeks our Bird Boxes will also be repainted and re-placed back in the school environment.
