Pupils from Reception to Primary 7 took part in The Big School Birdwatch 2024 today. We recorded the different species of birds found around our school grounds. there were lots of different birds to be found like House Sparrows, Robins, Pied Wagtails, Pigeons, Gulls, Blackbirds and Magpies. As part of the Eco- Schools Programme we have built bird boxes and bird tables, this allows us to feed bread curst to the birds in winter and we have planted hedges for these birds to nest in.
