Sports Day
A great day was had by all on Tuesday 14th June in St. Teresa’s P.S. The day began with a parade displaying the very creative banners each team designed. Each team had chosen a country from the 2016 Olympics to represent. The countries chosen were China, France, Spain, USA, Argentina, Greece, Great Britain, Australia and Jamaica.
All pupils then participated in nine stations which tested many of the sporty skills the children have learned and developed this year. All teams displayed outstanding team spirit, the older pupils supporting and helping the younger boys & girls in each station. The winning team was Jamaica, with Australia in 2nd place and Great Britain 3rd.
Our parents & family members enjoyed watching and encouraging all the children compete in each station. It was a delight to have their support at this annual event.
