Specsavers Visit
Christopher and William from the Specsavers team visited us today to explained how eye tests can help detect vision problems early. They discussed how certain vision issues can affect learning, sports, and daily activities, and emphasized that regular eye check-ups are essential for maintaining good eye health throughout life.
The children also learned about signs that might indicate the need for an eye test, such as squinting, difficulty reading the board, or experiencing headaches from too much screen time. The team demonstrated how simple eye exams can identify issues like nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism, and how easy it is to correct these with glasses or other treatments.
Specsavers gave a live demonstration of how eye tests are conducted, showing the students how quick and simple it is to check their vision. They also shared valuable advice on the importance of wearing protective eyewear when out in the sun and taking regular breaks from screens. we also learned what foods help our eyesight
A big thank you to Christopher and William from Specsavers for helping our students understand the importance of eye care and encouraging them to make eye check-ups a regular part of their health routine. We hope this visit will motivate everyone to look after their eyes and keep their vision healthy!
