Primary 6 & 7 Enjoy Outdoor Maths Looking at angles in nature!!!
23rd Jan 2025
Our Primary 6 and 7 pupils were using their maths skills and abilities to examine and explore the variety of angles that can be found in our natural environment, such as trees, shrubs, leaves, plants and even twigs. The children really enjoyed working together in their groups to gather lots of natural objects to make samples of right angles, acute angles, obtuse angles and even reflex angles!
The children further developed their estimating and measuring skills and got lots of practice using the protractor to measure their angles on this very enjoyable outdoor maths activity!!
