On Thursday 6th October, P.6 and P.7 got the opportunity to go orienteering in Gosford Forest Park. We learned how to use a compass and how to set a map. We split into small groups and then using walkie-talkies, a map, a score and and a thumb compass, the race to be the first team back began!
When all teams arrived back we had hot chocolate and had fun in the play park. I really enjoyed the day in Gosford because I loved having the independence to try to make our way back. It was a fantastic day!
