Mrs. Kelly's class had an exciting and engaging morning during their latest live lesson with J2Code Logo! The students started by learning how to create basic shapes like squares and rectangles, using simple commands to move the virtual turtle. They were thrilled to see their shapes come to life as they programmed each turn and movement.
Building on this, the class then took on the challenge of guiding their turtle through a maze. Using their knowledge of algorithms, they successfully programmed the turtle’s moves, carefully thinking through the best paths to take. Everyone collaborated and problem-solved together, using their new coding skills to control the turtle’s movements.
The class had a fantastic time and is already looking forward to the next live lesson!
