Gaelic Football Blitz

On Friday 27th May the school football team attended a Gaelic football Blitz in St. Paul’s Secondary School, Bessbrook.

“As soon as we got to St. Paul’s we played three games before lunch but lost all three to Jonesborough, Forkhill and Carrickrovaddy, but they were all very close. Some people got injured and had to be replaced by subs, but played in later games.” Lauren

“We played five games and won two. Our first game was against Carrickrovaddy, they are a very strong and difficult team to beat but our team is very strong and difficult to beat too. During the game we didn’t score any but we got close each time we took a shot.” Kirsten

“Our last match was against Belleek. Our footballer s did very well in this match and we ended up beating them. Kirsten was goalie and she done a great job. We were all very proud of all the footballers.” Alicia

“We didn’t get in the final but we did really good and our teachers were proud”. Callum
