A great morning was had by all schools participating in the Malachy McGeeney Small schools’ Round 2 Blitz in Dromintee GAA Grounds. A fabulous display of Gaelic Skills and Team Spirit were shown by all schools- Jonesborough PS, St. Laurence O’Toole’s, Belleek, St. Michael’s Newtown, St. Malachy’s Ballymoyer, St. Michael’s Clady, St. Oliver’s, Carrickavaddy and St. Teresa’s, Tullyherron. Congratulations to Jonesborough Primary School who are the well deserved winners of this section of the competition by winning all their matches both in October and today. We wish Jonesborough PS all the very best in the final.
A special thank you to Armagh All-Ireland Champion Aaron Mc Kay who refereed some of the matches today. Thanks to Dromintee GAA Club for hosting the tournament, for the lovely refreshments and for the use of their pitches and facilities.
