On Thursday 30th November, in the Armagh City Hotel, Cumann na mBunscol, Ard Mhacha, commenced it’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations with the Launch of the National Cumann na mBunscol Historical Book, which marks and records lots of moments and memories of the organisations 50 years existence.
The Book is co-written by Cumann na mBunscol’s National Chairman, Joe Lyons and his Colleague, Ciarán Crowe.
As part of this very special occasion three schools were presented with the Cumann na mBunscol, Ard Mhacha, Level 4 Participation Award-
St. Teresa’s P.S. Tullyherron, Our Lady’s P.S. Tullysaran and St. Teresa’s P.S. Lurgan.
The Award was presented by Mr Gary Farrell, Chairman of Cumann na mBunscol, Ard Mhacha, to Mrs Mc Court and Mrs Jacqueline Gahan.
This prestigious award is a wonderful achievement for our school and it highlights our pupils’ participation in many Cumann na mBunscol Activities throughout the school year!
