Catholic Schools Week KS1 & KS2

26th Jan 2024

The Primary 3 and 4 pupils celebrated Catholic Schools’ Week listening to stories about how Jesus shows us how to be a good friend, like when he forgave Zacchaeus.

The pupils shared their ideas of how they can be good friends at school.

We also thanked God for our Grandparents, they are so special to us.

The Primary 5, 6 and 7 pupils celebrated Catholic Schools’ Week by reading and discussing the “Parable of the Mustard Seed”, which explores how great things can come from small beginnings.

The children were invited to reflect on their own lives and on some of the many small gifts each person has, which they can use to contribute significantly to building the Kingdom of God.

The children designed a “Gift Web” to illustrate one small gift they have which they can nurture and grow to serve themselves and others.

On Wednesday 24th January we celebrated our Grandparents, who are a very special gift in our lives and our Grandparents teach the children important lessons about life and about faith.

Finally, the Primary 5, 6 and 7 pupils demonstrated how they can respect and care for our beautiful environment!
