Today Reception, Primary 1 & 2 had a visit from Hunters Supermarket, Markethill. Chris from Hunters brought representatives from Eurospar and Keelings in to talk to the children. It was so interesting to hear where our food comes from and the children learned that actually a lot of it comes from places so close by. We were delighted to receive a goodie bag filled with healthy treats. We also received a special pack of wildflower seeds from Keelings as part of their Great Rewilding initiative. The children will develop new skills, learn about nature and growth. We can’t wait to get planting.
A big congratulations to our Art competition winners Logan, Niall, Daithi and Layanna who all received their very own insect hotel! We would like to thank Hunters for organising such a wonderful visit.
