Emergency School Closure on Friday 24th January 2025 - Storm Éowyn All Schools in Northern Ireland have been issued with the following advice from the Education Authority:Due to the anticipated severe weather conditions, all schools in Northern Ireland are required to close tomorrow, Friday 24 January 2025, to avoid any potential risk to the safety of children, young people and staff across the sector.The Met Office has issued a red alert, which covers all of Northern Ireland, and will apply from 7am on Friday until 2pm.
