The Family Fun Day

24th Jun 2018

The sun shone very brightly on the fabulous “Family Fun Day” led by “the Friends of St. Teresa’s” parent support group. It was a fantastic fun filled event enjoyed by large numbers of pupils, parents, staff and many members of the local community.

There were lots of exciting activities offered-the complimentary “Tullyherron Cocktail”, delicious Burgers and Hotdogs, the Chocolate Foundation and a variety of sweet treats and drinks, Face-Painting, Tattoos, Hair Braids and Nail Painting.

Bouncy Castles were enjoyed by all the younger boys and girls, dads really enjoyed competing in the “Tug of War” while the ladies relaxed in the warm sunshine, chatting to friends with a delightful cup of tea.

An Outstanding amount of £2,200.00 was raised on the day plus an amount of £1200.00 was also raised earlier this week on a Sponsored Walk with all pupils from Reception to Primary 7 pupils, parents and staff participating.

We are greatly indebted to the “Friends of St. Teresa’s” hard work and generosity to the school in planning, organising and co-ordinating this very successful and enjoyable Event.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your support and kindness not only last Sunday but throughout the past school year. It is a testament of our parents’ commitment and dedication to St. Teresa’s Primary School. As principal I felt extremely proud and privileged to be part of this very successful Community Event.

Thank you to all our parents, families and members of the local community who donated food and drinks for the day.

We look forward to using these funds in St. Teresa’s to enhance the teaching and learning experiences in preparing our pupils for their journey in life.

I hope you all have an enjoyable and relaxing Summer.

Kind regards,

Sinead Mc Court
